Looking forward to 2007
2006 has been a very interesting year, but I think 2007 holds even more promise. Here’s a few of the things I am planning for the grand year of two thousand and seven :
Continue to diversify my income streams
I will target 50% of income from affiliate programs for 2007. I currently rely too heavily on Adsense, which we all know is rather unstable. I will continue to work on finding profitable affiliate programs to diversify, and hopefully proceed to direct advertising on some sites.
Streamline my projects
I will not start projects I can’t see through. I will not start projects I can’t see through. I will not start projects I can’t see through. I can’t stress that enough - it has been a problem of mine this past year. Good, solid ideas that failed not due to feasibility, but lack of time to see them produce results.
Focus on profit
This means cutting some projects that, while ’successful’ in some ways, don’t contribute meaningfully to my bottom line. I am in this game to earn a profit, and hopefully have some fun in the process. Not the other way around.
Manage my time better
I have precious little time to work on online projects due to the demands of every day life. I need to continue to focus on using the time efficiently, and not wasting a second of it. This is a huge obstacle that I need to overcome, and it can have a very positive effect on my success.

Direct advertising would be a dream for many of us, but I do agree about the diversification in other methods for the moment. Time is always a struggle but managing your priorities and remaining focused can save you a lot of time ;).
We also participated in this project, stop on by if you get a chance!

I’m really going to make a push for direct advertising on a few of my sites - even landing one deal can make all kinds of wonderful things come true.

I could probably take just about every single point you’ve concisely laid out and apply it to myself! I’ll have to stop back here and nose around more. Congratulations on recognizing some problem areas and being diligent in correcting them.

GPS - that’s one heck of a list, I hadn’t seen it before. It might be worth the time to run down it and see if there’s any gold there.
